HEALTH & SAFETY

DMC’s most valuable asset is our workforce, and the health and safety of our employees is fundamental to our success. Our occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system is focused on maintaining a strong safety culture, stringent risk management and effective leadership. DMC’s occupational health and safety management system covers all employees regardless of employment type, and is aligned with standards requirements of ISO 45001:2018. 
2019 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

37,000 hours of safety training, approximately 50 hours per employee

It is DMC’s policy to conduct our business in an environmentally responsible manner that minimizes the ecological impacts of our operations and the products we sell. Our Environmental Policy demonstrates our commitment to environmental stewardship throughout our organization, across our supply chain and within our customers’ operations where our products are used.
2019 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS
DMC has begun to track our Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions, and the data will be included in our inaugural 2020 sustainability report.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

We define our stakeholders as those groups that affect our Company, as well as all organizations that are or could be affected by DMC. These groups include investors, employees, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we do business. We are committed to engaging in open and transparent dialogue with all of our stakeholder groups.
2019 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS
DMC engaged with multiple stakeholders during 2019, and learned that governance practices, innovation and our corporate culture are among the perceived strengths of DMC. We also learned that reporting our ESG performance within a defined framework is important to many stakeholders, and intend to do so going forward.
